WHO WE ARE Our management team has extensive market and financial expertise. Mr. Shenkman represents the third generation of the Shenkman Family active in the development of real property in Canada and around the globe. His extensive background in private investment has permitted him not only to structure and finance transactions, but also to add value by playing a key management role and bringing significant new relationships to each deal. Outside of the business realm Mr. Shenkman is active in philanthropic endeavours, and acts as Chairman of the Shenkman Family Foundation.
Mr. McCrann has been managing investments for the Shenkman Group
of Companies since 1992. Prior to assuming the position of President
he held the position of Director of Finance at Shenkman for several
years before leaving the company for the position of CFO with a
computer software firm. Mr. McCrann returned to Shenkman to act
as the lead for all of the Group’s business transactions.
He currently sits on the Board of Directors of more than a dozen
companies in which Shenkman has an interest. He has extensive experience
in negotiating and structuring business transactions, having been
involved in a large number of acquisitions and divestitures.
Ms. Williams joined the Shenkman Group of Companies in 2004 after several years as a manager for a national public accounting firm in Ottawa where she provided audit, accounting and tax services for clients in a variety of industries. Prior to this she held supervisory financial positions in the information technology industry, professional service firms and commercial banking. As Director of Finance, Judy is responsible for overseeing all the financial, investment and day-to-day operations of the Shenkman Group. She is also directly involved in coordinating the philanthropic activities of the Shenkman Family Foundation. Ms. Williams holds a B. Comm from Concordia University in Montreal.. |  |
